Xerosicyos Danguyi is a unique trailing succulent that has become highly coveted amongst plant collectors these days for its fun, wonky growth pattern. However, its growth habit is not the only thing that makes it cool! Native to Madagascar, this Xerosicyos is actually a part of the Cucurbitaceae family, making it a relative of your common garden gourds.
This fast-growing succulent vine has branching stems and tendrils that help it to climb, though it can also be displayed in a hanging basket to allow for its woody stems to cascade and show off their precious, coin-like leaves.
Light: These babies love light! Perfect for bright indirect lighting situations. These will not do well in low light conditions.
Water: Xerosicyos are very low maintenance and prefer to dry out between waterings. Wait until your potting mix feels completely dry before giving this friend a drink.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is best, though not required.
This plant is non-toxic to pets.
