Strobilanthes - Dyeriana "Persian Shield"

Light: Persian Shield grows best in partially shady spots, receiving a full day of dappled light or around 4 hours of direct sun per day. They can also adjust well to full sun in cooler regions where sunlight is not too intense.

Water: These plants can be demanding when it comes to water. The leaves are thin and delicate, quickly wilting as soon as the soil dries out. This plant prefer the soil to remain slightly moist at a consistent level, without becoming soggy and waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. The plant may begin to droop dramatically when it is thirsty - give it a thorough watering and it may perk back up. 

This plant is safe for pets if ingested - but can cause mild skin irritation.
