Alocasia Longiloba Dragon Tooth is another interesting member of the Jewel Alocasia family that we are so excited to finally carry in store. The glossiness of their pointed leaves stands out against their stark white veining, creating some serious visual drama. Mature plants can grow from two to three feet tall, great for adding a little gothic energy to a sunny room.
Light: Like other Alocasia, the Dragon Tooth thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as the intense rays can burn their tender leaves. Curling and discoloration of the leaves is a possible sign that your plant is getting too much direct sun.
Water: Keep soil moist, but never soggy soil. Water once the soil dries about two inches down in the pot. A chunky soil mixture with good aeration is key for a happy plant.
Humidity: Moderate to high humidity is best for this variety. We recommend adding a humidifier to your plant care routine or placing it on a pebble tray to help provide humidity if your space is dry.
This plant is poisonous to pets if ingested.
