Anthuriums are incredibly cool and underrated plants. The Anthurium Plowmanii, also known as Birdsnest Anthurium, has large, slightly ruffled dark green leaves. They are native to South America, where they grow as epiphytes in the trees. Epiphytes make great houseplants because of their low maintenance and easy care. If you're lucky you'll see a bloom or two off of this plant.
Light: Medium indirect light is perfect for these plants. They can also adapt quite well to some lower light conditions.
Water: Since anthuriums are epiphytes, they do quite well on the drier side. Allow your plant to dry out fully in between watering.
If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
