Anthuriums are an incredibly cool and underrated plant. The Anthurium Plowmanii, also known as Birdsnest Anthurium, has large, slightly ruffled dark green leaves. They are native to South America, where they grow as epiphytes in the trees. Epiphytes make great houseplants because of their low maintenance and easy care. If you're lucky you'll see a bloom or two off of this plant!
Light: Medium indirect light to bright indirect sun is preferred.
Water: Since anthuriums are epiphytes, they do quite well on the drier side. Allow your plant to dry out at least halfway down in the pot between waterings.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for Anthurium growth. We suggest adding a humidifier to your plant care routine if the air in your space is dry.
Poisonous to pets if ingested.
