This charming rosette is a cute bird nest Anthurium variety originating from Ecuador, where it was discovered in the late 1960s by
C.H. Dodson and a team of field botanists. The Anthurium Superbum is characterized by its structural foliage, broad, shiny leaves and creeping aerial roots, which give it the appearance of a prehistoric species. This strange little weirdo is conveniently easy to care for, making it a great houseplant for the beginner indoor gardener.

Light: Anthurium thrive in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as the intense rays can burn their tender leaves. Crisping and discoloration of the leaves is a possible sign that your plant is getting too much direct sun.

Water: Keep soil moist, but never soggy. Water once the soil dries about two inches down in the pot. A chunky soil mixture with good aeration is key for a happy plant.

Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for this variety. We recommend adding a humidifier to your plant care routine or placing it on a pebble tray to help provide humidity if your space is dry.

This plant is poisonous to pets if ingested.

Photographs are representative of the species and not always the specific plant shipped. Normal variations in size, pruning and leaf structure may occur.
