Duncan utilizes the Sun and the Moon, as well as Time and Tide as inspiration to create visual and sound based work.  With  similar intuition and sensitivity as other aspects of his practice, he creates ceramic instruments, vessels to hold the ocean and functional ceramics such as cups and bowls. Outside of his studio practice, he runs LAND AND SEA, a small book and record publishing endeavor, with his partner Maria Otero. Christopher received his BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts and his MFA from Stanford University.
