The Peperomia Rosso is another cool variety that we love. This cultivar has notably ridged leaves that are so dark green that at times they appear black and an intriguing red underside that adds a perfect pop of color. This plant’s genus name comes from two Greek words: peperi, which means pepper and homoios, which means resembling. They really do resemble pepper plants and are actually related to true black pepper.
Light: Peperomia Rosso do best with bright, indirect light. It can also do well with morning or evening sun, but will not tolerate full, direct sun. Fluorescent lighting is an excellent choice when growing these easy care indoor plants.
Water: While the Peperomia like to be on the dryer side, the fragile roots of Peperomia do not tolerate drought conditions.Allow the top couple of inches of the soil to dry out completely before watering and then water thoroughly. Do not let the plant sit in water.
