Bromeliads hold a special place in our hearts. They are just so cool! This Bromeliad - Aechmea Fasciata is perfect for beginner plant lovers, featuring unique silver foliage and stunning pink flowers that will have you feeling like a seasoned pro in no time.
Light: Provide bright, indirect light for full color, but protect from direct sunlight to prevent damage to the leaves.
Water: These plants are epiphytes, meaning they grow on trees and rocky surfaces. They get the moisture & nutrients they need through their foliage, so you want to keep water in the central cup, filling it about 1/4 to 1/2 filled with water. Change the water frequently with clean water to prevent odor and bacteria. Water the potting medium every 1-2 months, letting the water drain all the way through.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is best. These plants will appreciate a spray on the foliage every once in a while.
Non-toxic to people and pets.
