Light: Ponytail palms do best in bright light, enjoying direct sun if possible. Brighter sun will lend more robust and larger growth. These will not tolerate lower light conditions.

Water: These plants are extremely drought tolerant, storing water in their thick trunks. Depending on the size of your plant, you can go for weeks to months without watering. To avoid overwatering, it is best to allow your ponytail palm to dry out thoroughly in between watering.

Humidity: Hailing from a tropical environment, these plants do prefer a more humid environment. If you notice crisping on the tips, you can add a humidifier to your plant routine.
