Peperomia are a favorite here at Crimson for their ease of care and unique foliage. The Peperomia deppeana×quadrifolia “Hope”, often called “Trailing Jade”, is a hard-to-find trailing Peperomia variety distinguished by its chonky, coin-shaped leaves and whimsical growth pattern. This plant’s genus name comes from two Greek words: peperi, which means pepper and homoios, which means resembling.
Light: Peperomia fare best in bright, indirect light. It can also do well with morning or evening sun, but will not tolerate full, direct sun. Fluorescent lighting is an excellent choice when growing these easy-care indoor plants.
Water: While the Peperomia like to be on the dryer side, their fragile roots do not tolerate drought conditions. Allow the soil to dry out about halfway down in the pot between thorough waterings. Avoid wetting their leaves or stems.
Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.
Not poisonous to pets if ingested.
