If you want to add some flare to your plant collection, Aglaonemas are a great option, as they come in an endless variety of vibrant colors and patterns. “Sparkling Sarah” is a lovely variety which has dark green leaves which “sparkle” with pink hues. An intense magenta vein runs along the center of the leaves for a beautiful pop of color, and almost translucent pink stems pull it all together.
Light: This plant prefers bright indirect light. Although Aglaonemas are known for adapting to lower light conditions, the colorful varieties generally need more light to thrive.
Water: Water this plant when the soil has dried out about half way down in its container. Although these plants are moderately drought tolerant, and can withstand drying out a bit, they will do best when regularly watered.
If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
