These epiphytes are such incredible specimens! Their elongated, thick, iridescent leaves have a blue tint that helps them adapt to the lower light that they would receive on the forest floor in their natural habitats. These ferns are incredible and make amazing mounted plants as well.
Light: In their natural habitat, Blue Oil Ferns receive dappled light and therefore are well-adapted to the indirect light of any home and can tolerate some medium light settings. Keep away from direct sunshine to avoid scorching the leaves.
Water: Like other epiphytes, these ferns prefer their potting medium to stay on the drier side.
Humidity:We recommend adding a humidifier to your plant care routine if the air in your space is dry.
