Dracaena Rikki is an especially interesting and sturdy Dracaena variety, able to withstand a variety of growing conditions. The leather-leafed Rikki is noted for its deep green, spear-like leaves contrasted with a bright racing stripe of yellow down the center. This variety of Dracaena is often used for office installations, as it has the peculiar habit to adapt to fluorescent lighting, but will thrive in a filtered light environment.

Light: Although many varieties of Dracaena are adapted to lower light, the Dracaena Rikki prefers bright, indirect light. Lower light conditions will cause this Dracaena to lose its variegation.  Avoid direct light however, as the leaves can burn quite easily.

Water: The key to a successful Dracaena usually lies in the watering. Make sure you're allowing your plant adequate drainage, as soggy roots can lead to root rot. Allow your plant to dry out between thorough waterings.

Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.

If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
