A popular outdoor ground-cover, favored in xeriscape gardens, the speckled Ledebouria Socialis "Silver Squill" is a dianty, spotted succulent grown for its attractive foliage and pleasant seasonal flowers. We love it for its silvery, leopard-spotted lances, and the peculiar bulb that forms as the plant matures. This plant remains small whether grown indoor or out, only reaching heights of up to ten feet tall, making it a perfect windowsill plant.
Native to Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, the Ledebouria favors a bright climate and arid conditions.
Light: These succulents love light! Perfect for bright to bright indirect lighting situations. These will not do well in low light conditions.
Water: Ledebouria are very low maintenance and prefer for their soil to dry out between waterings. Wait until your potting mix feels completely dry before giving this friend a drink.
Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.
This item is non-toxic to pets.
