Peperomia Frost is a favorite Peperomia variety amongst plant enthusiasts thanks to its rippled silvery leaves. When the light hits just right, they give off a faint and eye-catching glimmer.

This plant’s genus name comes from two Greek words: peperi, which means pepper and homoios, which means resembling. They really do resemble pepper plants and are actually related to true black pepper.

Light: Peperomia fare best in bright, indirect light. It can also do well with morning or evening sun, but will not tolerate full, direct sun. Fluorescent lighting is an excellent choice when growing these easy-care indoor plants.

Water: While the Peperomia like to be on the dryer side, their fragile roots do not tolerate drought conditions. Allow the soil to dry out about halfway down in the pot between thorough waterings. Avoid wetting their leaves or stems.

Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.

Non-toxic to pets.
