Alocasia - Brancifolia "Pink Passion"

Light: These plants require bright indirect light, but avoid direct sun, as the intense rays can burn their tender leaves. Be sure to rotate your plant regularly to ensure it grows evenly, as these are infamous for distorting their shape by reaching towards the light. 

Water: Alocasia are very sensitive to over-watering. Pot in a well-draining soil mix, and water your plant only when the soil is dry halfway down. If you're unsure, air on the side of underwatering, but never let the soil dry out all the way. 

Humidity: These plants are native to New Guinea, therefore thrive in high-humidity environments, ideally over 50%. If you live in a drier climate, place near a humidifier or in a greenhouse. Leaves browning on the edges or near the tip indicate the humidity is too low. If you see small droplets forming at the tips of the leaves, your plant is healthy and at a good level of humidity. 

If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
