An interesting and unique species of Peperomia, the ‘Puteolata’ vaguely resembles the watermelon-like pattern of the ‘Watermelon’ Peperomia variety, but has narrower, more delicate leaves that grow along the length of the stem rather than just out of the top. Although its stems start out growing in an upward, parrallel direction, as the plant matures it will start to vine downward, making it a great hanging plant option!

Light: Peperomia fare best in bright, indirect light. It can also do well with morning or evening sun, but will not tolerate full, direct sun. Fluorescent lighting is also an excellent choice when growing these easy-care indoor plants.

Water: While the Peperomia like to be on the dryer side, their fragile roots do not tolerate drought conditions. Allow the soil to dry out about halfway down in the pot between thorough waterings. Avoid wetting their leaves or stems.

Humidity: Moderate to humidity is best. Though Peperomia are native to more humid environments, they do not require high humidity to thrive.

Not poisonous to pets if ingested.
