Alocasia - Platinum

The Alocasia Platinum is a stunning rare tropical specimen that brings sophisticated elegance to any home. Light: Alocasia do best in bright indirect light, especially the jewel varieties like the Platinum. Avoid direct light as these can easily become damaged and burned.

Water: To keep the prized foliage of your Alocasia looking verdant and healthy, it will need regular and thorough watering. These plants don't like being waterlogged, so allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out between waterings, especially if the weather isn't too warm. The key is consistently moist but not wet conditions to avoid root rot.

Humidity: Native to tropical regions, Alocasia love humidity. We recommend adding a humidifier if your home is dry, or keeping in a glass case, cloche, or terrarium for optimal growth.
