Also known as the African Milk Plant, the Euphorbia Trigona Red Cathedral displays a stunning mix of colors including shades of green, red, purple, and maroon. The stem is lined with thorns that sprout in pairs and its teardrop-shaped leaves are tinted with hues of red. As it grows, this cultivar can reach an impressive eight to ten feet in height.
Light: Bright direct light is best for these, at least five hours of the direct sun is ideal. If grown indoors, place by a bright window. It can be grown outdoors in frost-free climates and a hardiness zone of 9a to 11b.
Water: Make sure your plant is in a very well draining soil. Allow your plant to dry out completely in between watering, and then thoroughly watered. These do best with under-watering rather than over-watering.
This plant is not safe for pets.
