If you are a big fan of ferns, you should know that the Crocodyllus is quite possibly one of the coolest ferns out there! This fern gets its name from its unique leaf texture that imitates that of a crocodile’s scales. Growing in a bird’s nest pattern, these scaly leaves shoot out from the center of the plant in a narrow sword-like shape. Sometimes the tip of their leaves split, making them resemble snake tongues!
Light: Ferns are known for being plants that can handle low lighting situations well. This plant prefers medium to bright indirect light, but can easily adapt to a lower light environment. Careful not to give it any direct sun, as the intense rays will bleach and burn its tender leaves.
Water: Ferns love water, but like most plants, do not like to sit in soggy soil. Water your fern one the surface of soil feels slightly dry to the touch, and make sure you give it a pot with a drainage hole. Ferns also thrive in a humid environment, and will appreciate it if you add a humidifier to your plant care routine.
These plants are pet friendly.
