The leaves of Haworthia Venosa Tessellata are thick and triangular, with a smooth surface and a grey-green base color. The unique pattern of 'windows' allows sunlight to penetrate deep into the plant's foliage. White teeth around the margin and tightly-stacked rosettes make this variety stand out in any home. Reaching up to 6 inches in diameter, mature Haworthia venosa tessellata will produce offsets at the base, forming a dense clump of foliage.
This variety is easy to care for, making it perfect for beginners. The 'windows' on its leaves allow it to thrive even in low lighting, and brighter light will give it a warm magenta hue. It simply needs a porous soil mix, well-draining pot, and infrequent watering for success.
Light: The Haworthia Venosa Tessellata is one of the few succulents that can tolerate lower lighting conditions. Although not requiring as much sunlight as a typicaly succulent, this plant will still thrive in brighter conditions.
Water: These plants like to dry out all the way between waterings - then watered very deeply and thoroughly. Make sure that the water drains all the way out of the pot to avoid root rot.
