The Raphidophora Tetrasperma (try saying that 3 times fast!) has often been mistaken for other plants because it's pinnated foliage strikes a slight resemblance to a few other plants. As the common name suggests, many people have mistaken this plant for a Monstera deliciosa, however it is an entirely different plant genus altogether! We love them because they are an incredibly fast growing plant and quite forgiving. These trail quickly, so we recommend attaching your plant to a moss pole as soon as you see some new growth.
Light: These plants do best in bright light but can be adapted to medium bright light as well. You will notice your plant growing fuller and larger leaves in brighter light.
Water: While your Raphidophora Tetrasperma can do very well in drier soil, you will notice more consistent growth if you keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Avoid allowing water to pool at the bottom of the plant to keep your roots happy.
If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
