Purple Oxalis Triangularis, or Purple Shamrock Plant, is a low-maintenance variety of woodsorrel that is a favorite addition to the home due to their vibrant, whimsical foliage and photophilic dancing. Oxalis movement can be observed throughout the day, shifting happily as the sun moves across a room, and bending away from touch. These sensitive springtime beauties add a playful touch of color to a bright room.

Light: Bright, indirect sunlight is ideal for your Philodendron Painted Lady. They enjoy a good deal of ambient sun, but may droop in hot, direct light. Stress from two low of light will quickly cause the plant’s leaves to close up and may result in defoliation.

Water: These plants prefer for their soil to stay slightly moist, but never soggy. Plant in a well-draining potting mix and allow the soil to dry at about one inch down in the pot between waterings to avoid over-saturation. 

Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for Oxalis growth. We suggest adding a humidifier to your plant care routine if the air in your space is dry.

Not poisonous to pets and humans if ingested.
