This beautiful Philodendron is truly striking! The Choco Empress, also known as the Philodendron Pluto, is instantly recognized for it's large, almost serrated like leaves that emerge as a coppery brown color and mature into a dark green with a hint of burgundy. These climbing Philodendron would benefit from a moss pole as they grow.
Light: Bright, indirect sunlight is ideal for your Philodendron. They enjoy a good deal of ambient sun, but do not favor direct light.
Water: These plants prefer for their soil to stay slightly moist, but never soggy. Plant in a well-draining potting mix and allow the soil to dry at least halfway down in the pot between waterings to avoid over-saturation.
Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for Philodendron growth. We suggest adding a humidifier to your plant care routine if the air in your space is dry.
