Philodendron - Jose Buono

Philodendron ‘Jose Buono’ is a striking and rare Philodendron variety, prized for its gorgeous elongated green leaves with their beautiful splashes of cream variegation. This climbing plant’s leaves can reach up to two feet long when mature, and under the right conditions, it can grow up to four feet tall indoors. If you love rare plants without all the fuss, this one is for you! The ‘Jose Bueno’ is both great to look at and easy to care for!

Light: This plant prefers bright indirect light, but avoid direct light, as the rays will burn its tender leaves. Although it can handle lower lighting conditions, please note that because the variegated leaf parts lack chlorophyll, and therefore cannot photosynthesis, a lower light environment will cause it to lose some of the variegation that makes it so special. 

Water: This plant prefers moist, but well draining soil, so water this friend once the soil is dry about two inches down in its container. 

Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for this variety. We suggest running a humidifier if the air in your space is especially dry.
