Sansevieria - Bacularis Mikado, also known as the Mikado snake plant, is a small hybrid species originating from tropical West Africa. Its uniquely twisted leaves grow straight out of the ground, distinguishing it from other varieties of this plant.
One of the most popular plants for beginners, Sansevieria are a staple amongst plant collectors. Native to West Africa and parts of India, these plants are accustomed extremely warm but tropical conditions.
Light: While Sansevieria can adapt quite well to low light environments, they truly do best in medium to bright indirect light.
Water: These plants are extremely drought tolerant. Depending on the size of your plant, you can go for weeks to months without watering. To avoid overwatering, it is best to allow your Sansevieria to dry out thoroughly in between watering.
Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.
If ingested, poisonous to pets.
