One of the most popular plants for beginners, Sansevieria are a staple amongst plant collectors. Native to West Africa and parts of India, these plants are accustomed extremely warm but tropical conditions. This Trifasciata Cleopatra is a smaller variety of snake plant, perfect for a table top or small space. It's structural, rosette style growth and striking striping is a unique addition to any home.
Light: While Sansevieria can adapt quite well to low light environments, they truly do best in medium to bright indirect light.
Water: These plants are extremely drought tolerant. Depending on the size of your plant, you can go for weeks to months without watering. To avoid overwatering, it is best to allow your Sansevieria to dry out thoroughly in between watering.
Soil: These plants do best in a sandy, well-draining soil. We recommend a cactus potting mix. Sansevieria grow best when they are tight in their pot, as they prefer to dry out and excess soil can easily result in root rot.
Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best.
If ingested, poisonous to pets.
